I'm Andrii Diachkov, a name synonymous with a profound love for volleyball and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Formerly a professional volleyball player, I have seamlessly transitioned into the role of Head Coach of the 17 Elite team at the Texas Legacy Volleyball Club in Houston, where I bring my wealth of experience to nurture the next generation of volleyball stars.

My volleyball journey kicked off at age ten and reached a pinnacle in my senior year when I received an offer from one of Ukraine's most prestigious universities, securing a full scholarship and the chance to play elite-level volleyball – a triumph that set the stage for my remarkable career.

In my third year of university education, I took a pivotal step forward by signing my first professional contract with a local club. This journey took me to renowned volleyball arenas in Italy, Greece, Russia, and France, representing not only clubs but also proudly wearing the colors of the National Team of Ukraine for six years.

At the youthful age of 23, I proudly earned the title of the best Outside Hitter in the country.

My 15 years of playing for various clubs worldwide exposed me to a multitude of coaching styles, not all of which were exemplary. In response, I meticulously analyzed my errors and took on the role of coaching myself to enhance on-court performance.

Fueled by a wealth of knowledge and a desire to contribute to the sport, I made the transition to the United States. Now, as the Head Coach, I take immense pleasure in sharing my extensive volleyball experience with aspiring athletes. Having navigated different levels of play, I possess a keen understanding of how to prepare future volleyball stars and guide them toward their aspirations.
